Abstract

Recently, coding metasurfaces have provided a possible and flexible way to manipulate electromagnetic waves in real time. In this paper, a reflective metasurface which consists of four pin diodes employed across the slots in each unit to realize the dynamic control of incident waves is proposed. By independently changing the “ON” and “OFF” states of each diodes, this metasurface can implement six different polarization reconfigurable performances simultaneously. The simulated results demonstrate the expected application in multifunctional metasurfaces.
