Abstract

The radio frequency (RF) stealth of noise modulation continuous wave radar is discussed in this paper. Firstly, the relationship between output autocorrelation function of Gaussian noise phase and frequency modulation continuous wave and correlation coefficient of Gaussian noise is analyzed respectively. Secondly, the effects of different root mean square of Gaussian noise on RF stealth of noise phase and frequency modulation continuous wave radar are studied through simulation. Lastly, the Gaussian noise Sinusoidal wave modulated symmetrical triangular linear frequency modulation continuous wave (GSMSTLFMCW) radar transmit signal is constructed. The amplitude spectrum of transmit signals between STLFMCW and GSMSTLFMCW radar is compared basing on simulation. The study shows that RF stealth performance of GSMSTLFMCW radar is better than STLFMCW radar.
