Design of Milk Powder Traceability System Based on Internet of Things

Abstract

In order to implement the trace and security management automatically, the life cycle messages of milk powder from milk source, producing, packaging, checking, transporting, distribution to recalling are analyzed, a trace ability system of milk powder based on internet of things is proposed. The electronic product code (EPC) code is used to identify every milk powder product, the data in the life cycle of milk powder are gathered through radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the milk powder product is traced based on the architecture and work flow of the internet of things, so that the consumer may query and know the detailed information of the purchased milk powder product, sure the product security and reliability.
