Abstract

A Calibration installation of dynamic pressure transducer based on shock tube was designed, in which the measure and control system was the most important part because it determined the precision of calibration data and results. The measure and control system consisted of pressure control system and measurement system. The pressure control system was designed to control the initial pressure in the high pressure section and low pressure section of the shock tube. The measurement system had many functions, such as test condition inverse solution, test condition monitor, sampling trigger, effective data acquisition, parameters computation, and report generation and print module, etc. It was designed to accurately measure and calculate the parameters required for calibrating a dynamic pressure transducer. The 2nd order expand uncertainty of the step pressure generated by the calibration installation was analyzed to be less than 3%, which met the requirement of standard calibration regulation.
