Abstract

AbstractAn H∞ approach to design a gain scheduled filter for Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems in the presence of sensor faults is presented in this paper. LPV systems with unmeasured real-time varying parameters have been considered. The main contribution of the paper consists in the formulation of the synthesis problem as a convex optimization problem under Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) constraints. The paper relies on the use of a bank of accurate observers that performs sensor fault detection and isolation despite of unmeasurable scheduling variable. The performances of the proposed observers are illustrated using a simulation example.
