Abstract

A Microstrip line feed RMSA was designed by utilizing a simulation tool called Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator. It has an H-shaped slot with inner ring to support dual band operation with enhancement in bandwidth for X-band applications. The antenna's performance in terms of the S11 parameter is depicted from the simulated results. The suggested design resonates at 9.36 and 11.31 Giga Hertz, having a maximum gain 8.62 dBi, low return loss, and a wide bandwidth in the targeted frequency band. SWR, return loss, directivity, gain, radiation pattern and bandwidth are the parameters taken into consideration in the design of proposed antenna.
