Abstract

This paper proposes a novel wideband high-isolation dual-polarized patch antenna. The antenna is mainly constructed based on suspended patch element, L-probes, and microstrip transmission lines (decoupling network). Operating bandwidth is expanded by using Lprobe feeding structure and high isolation is achieved by the creation of a transmission zero (using T-shaped network) at 2. 6GHz. Simulated results show that the proposed method can offer wide operating bandwidth and high port isolation from 2.4-2.8GHz.
