Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a technique to design cross-coupled dispersive delay structures (DDSs) with arbitrary prescribed group delay and controlled magnitude. In this technique, the magnitude and phase of the cross-coupled DDSs can be separately controlled. A design example is provided to illustrate the method. The response of the synthesized coupling matrix proves the validity of the design method.
