Abstract
With the rapid development and popularization of computer technology, computer-aided teaching model has gradually become a mainstream and has been widely used in College English classroom. This paper mainly aims at the operation and maintenance of computer-aided system in College English teaching, and puts forward a method based on data mining (DM) technology. In daily communication, learners analyze and process the information they have learned, and establish the corresponding database. This paper first introduces the current situation of English Teaching in Colleges and universities (CAU), and then expounds how to use the big data platform to realize the functions of distance education resource management, query, statistics and retrieval. Finally, taking college English as the research object, a computer-aided system for College English teaching based on DM technology is designed. Through the performance test of the system, the test results show that the operation time and delay time of the system are maintained at about 2S, and the CPU occupancy rate is also about 2%. This shows that the system can meet the needs of users.
