Abstract

A small-size acceleration measurement system based on ARM is designed and developed in this paper. It adopts Micro-machined capacitive integrated chip Model1221 as sensor and SD card as Data memory. Combined with communication port, application software is designed to display, store and deal with the data measured. By measuring the centripetal acceleration of rotating body at a uniform velocity, the static performance of this system is calibrated; by measuring the blast acceleration produced by shaking table, the dynamic performance is tested and compared. The results show that this system has higher intelligent degree, smaller size, lighter weight, lower frequency response (including direct current response), wider frequency response range, and greater static and dynamic performance. At last, this acceleration measurement system is helpful and has extensive application prospects in measurement area.
