Abstract
AbstractThis paper presents a design of a compact wide bandpass filter composed of transmission lines and capacitances having attenuation poles in high frequen‐cies. The design method uses a frequency transformation and some approximations to the ladder‐type network obtained from a circuit transformation of the transmission line into a π‐ type network. As a result, this filter design is simple. The influence of the approximation to the attenuation characteristics of the filter is shown. The experimental results show that the design of this filter is effective.
