Abstract
A system in described which permits the simple programming of a read only memory. The programmer is particularly suitable for floating gate avalanche-injection MOS charge-storage memories which are erasable by exposure to ultra-violet light. After a discussion of the physical mechanisms involved in programming the paper provides details on circuit design with particular emphasis on interface problems.
