Abstract
In this paper, a VHF monopole antenna based on fractal structure is designed for marine rescue. The radiation characteristic of the antenna on sea level and ground is compared, and the influence of the antenna bend is discussed. Finally, a two-order fractal V-shaped monopole antenna working at 142 MHz is designed and fabricated as an example.
