Abstract

In recent years, a topic much discussed in the academic community, about Design and its ability to pro-mote social improvement, a society aware of the understanding of Design objects in society. Where there is not only the desire to contribute to the resolution of social issues and the establishment of a more eco-nomically and socially sustainable society, but also the idea that the Design strategy starts from creative, participatory and collaborative experiences. The article aims to raise questions and discussions about the responsibility of areas such as: Design and Society, with the scientific method based on theoretical analysis, so, therefore, it is about Design with Society and not Design for Society. The discussion found space in Clive Dilnot’s analyses/research, which deals with “Design as a socially significant activity: An introduction”.
