Abstract

This paper represents the design and performance analysis of two conformal arrays: one with dual patch antenna elements and the other includes quadruple patch antenna elements. The conformal array with 2 patch antenna elements resonates near 2.08 GHz and the one with 4 elements resonates at 2.169GHz and 2.679GHz. Each element in an array is inset fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna. Two different substrate materials are used for the two arrays. The antennas have been simulated using commercial software CST microwave Studio 2014.
