Abstract

In this paper, a high-voltage system for ion mobility spectrometer was designed to realize the electric field of drift tube and ion gate switching function. Based on the high-voltage circuit and FPGA program, fast switching of positive and negative 2500V and ion gate were implemented. In order to verify the system function, we used the DMMP chemical reagent as the sample for analysis and test. The experimental results indicated that the ion mobility spectrometer could quickly collect positive and negative ion mobility spectra, and the high-voltage system ran reliably. The noise and baseline of the collected ion mobility spectra was at low level. The system meets the detection requirements of the ion mobility spectrometer.
