Abstract

This paper starts with an exhaustive analysis of ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem) algorithm. It then proposes a way of ECC structure in which the parameter can be reconstructed. The design implements a configurable tool which can be configured to meet different needs in a high-level language. In the process of implementation, the parallelism and KOA structure are adopted to optimize resources. The ECC co-processor has the characteristics of high flexibility and high computing speed. With TSMC 28nm process technology the frequency can reach 2.3GHz, and a scalar multiplication only need 0.26μs, which is better than similar design. The configurable tool is designed to meet different requirements of digital signatures and encryption application, and can directly generate validated Verilog code, which greatly reduces designing time and improves product competitiveness.
