Abstract
In this paper, a non-invasive device for the measurement of blood glucose is presented. The embedded system and its parts are presented and explained, along with computer software to control the measurement procedure. The results for the first stage of the clinical trials are presented and shown. A statistical analysis of these data is performed in order to confirm the validity of the principle of operation of the designed device. Furthermore, a case study for the second stage is presented, which provides an initial, promising result for a formal implementation of the upcoming trials. Finally, the system is compared with existing non-invasive devices.
