Abstract

This paper presents the theoretical design and fabrication of the transparent electrode with silver mesh printed on the PEDOT:PSS surface as an alternative to the ITO transparent electrode. PEDOT:PSS was coated through the ESD process, and silver mesh electrodes were printed through the gravure offset process. The theoretical transparency and theoretical model of sheet resistance were induced and the design procedure was proposed. Through it, the printed transparent electrodes with silver mesh were fabricated, and the transparency and sheet resistance of the fabricated device were measured and compared with the theoretical model. This shows that the theoretical model is consistent with the actual measurement and can be reliably used in the design. Finally, the printed transparent electrode with silver mesh with the transparency and sheet resistance of 89.9% and 29.4@W/@?, respectively, was obtained.
