Design and development of multipurpose cooling and drying machine

Abstract

Abstract In the recent days, preservation of fruits and vegetables, drying of clothes and drying of homemade eatables is an issue due to varying weather conditions and changing life style. Storing vegetables in refrigerators reduces the nutritional value and water content of the food. Also, the clothes and homemade eatables are usually dried naturally under the sun. But it is difficult to dry in rainy season. The machine which is being developed is a multipurpose home appliance where it keeps the freshness of fruits and vegetables intact. There by the life span of fruits and vegetables is increased and its nutritious value is sustained for more days in a hygienic manner compared to domestic storage methods. This machine is also equipped with drying system and it is used for drying the clothes as well as homemade eatables in a very promising way.
