Abstract
The introduction of virtual reality (VR) into the educational process has the potential for significant transformation and development of teaching methods. This article is devoted to the design and development of a prototype VR ecosystem for use in educational institutions. The key objectives of the research included the analysis of modern VR technologies, the development of a conceptual model of the VR ecosystem, the design of the architecture of the VR platform taking into account pedagogical theories and UX design, the implementation of a prototype with a basic set of educational modules, and experimental testing in real conditions. The analysis of modern VR technologies has revealed the main trends and opportunities that can be used in the educational process. The development of the conceptual model of the VR ecosystem included the definition of the key components of the system and their interaction. The design of the VR platform architecture was carried out taking into account pedagogical theories such as constructivism and social constructivism, which made it possible to create a system that promotes active and collective learning. The UX design was aimed at creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that promotes high user engagement. The implementation of the prototype included the creation of a basic set of educational modules covering various disciplines and levels of study. The experimental testing of the prototype was carried out in real conditions of educational institutions. During the pilot testing, data was collected on user interaction with the system, their satisfaction and learning effectiveness. The results of the study indicate the significant potential of VR in increasing the involvement and effectiveness of the educational process. Users noted the high degree of interactivity and realism of the VR experience, which contributed to a better assimilation of the material. In conclusion, the introduction of VR technologies into the educational process opens up new opportunities for creating more dynamic and exciting learning. The prototype of the VR ecosystem developed within the framework of this study demonstrates high efficiency and user satisfaction, which confirms the significant potential of VR in education .
