Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the structure, principle, and main design issues of a large-scale, high-accuracy auto-centring machine jig, as well as the practical application of finite element analysis in the design process of elastic sheaths. This kind of jig is suitable for machining parts with large, thin-walled, and complex shapes such as a sleeve barrel. The designed jig has been used in the manufacturing process of rocket engines.
