Abstract

In the present project sandwich structured composites are designed and analyzed. Sandwich composites are selected because of its light weight and it has high flexural strength. These composites have a spatial construction, which influences the thermal properties. Sandwich composite boards are utilized in flights, street vehicles, ships, and structural engineering. In this project the suitable materials from literature are selected for face sheet and cores in sandwich structures. Round and rectangular shaped cores in sandwich structures are selected for this project. From the analysis the best combinations of face sheet and cores are identified.
