Abstract

In this paper, a compact circular patch antenna is designed which is operating at two different band (S and C bands). The proposed antenna is designed with two stub loaded ring resonators and two semicircular patches. This antenna operates at two different frequencies 3.5 GHz and 6.6 GHz, which can be used for IoT (Internet of Things) application along with satellite communication. The fractional bandwidths of proposed antenna are 19.88% and 8.03% at 3.5 GHz and 6.6 GHz respectively. The results are analyzed and discussed in term of return loss, fractional bandwidth and gain.
