Abstract
A roll-type electrochemical membrane apparatus is developed for the purification of technological solutions of machine-building and chemical industries. Calculations of the total separation surface, surfaces of the cathode and anode membranes, the total solution cooling area per unit volume of the apparatus, calculation of the principal elements (shells, left and right covers) of the membrane apparatus for strength, allowable overpressure in the apparatus are presented.
