Abstract

Wilkinson Power Divider is a passive three port device widely used in wireless/wired communication technologies for various RF applications. The proposed paper dealt with Wilkinson Power Divider on micro strip line and analyzed at operating frequency of 2.45 GHz. This Wilkinson Power Divider is designed to counter the parasitic effects and discontinuities in the real-time circuit. It assists the designer to overcome the practical difficulties and design in real time. It depicts the simulation result obtained from the general Wilkinson Power Divider and provides the deep insight into the device characteristics and in derivation of correlating scattering matrix for Wilkinson Power Divider. The study of proposed design has shown improved return loss and bandwidth extension by utilizing multiple topologies. All simulations are performed using ADS (Advanced Design System).
