Abstract

Crane shot is a most familiar word used in film production. These cranes are manually operated for shooting in various angles, heights and tilts respectively. The crane should be moved, rotated and tilted for various positions and shots while shooting the film. The cameras will be fixed to the arm of the crane at one end with a person sitting on it, and controlled, operated manually by others. Depending on the load requirements and shooting parameters these cranes can range from the small to large sizes. In this project analysis work will be carried out on the various camera crane members along with jib components. An alternative method to operate the crane will be studied and controlling and operating the crane automatically will be carried out. The total analysis for load distribution and failure conditions will be tested and the current design will be modified for better and easy operating technique.
