Abstract
Desde el análisis de elementos visuales intervinientes en dos obras cuyo tema es la conquista territorial de la Pampa-Patagonia a fines del siglo XIX, vinculados a la noción de desierto y la categoría de forma patética (Pathosformel) en la figura de las cautivas, este estudio pretende abrir interrogantes sobre la construcción historiográfica de representaciones hegemónicas en las imágenes.
