Abstract
A new species of Afronurus, A. opa sp. n., (Ephemeroptera: Heptageniidae), from Opa River catchment basin, Nigeria is described from the larval stage. The diagnostic morphological characters of the larva are illustrated and discussed. Keywords: Afronurus opa sp. n. larva, Heptageniidae, Ephemeroptera, Nigeria.
