Abstract

In order to check whether the Pauli potential could give a better description of the fermionic behavior of nucleons and the structure effects of fragment formation of HIC, by distinguishing neutron from proton, the Pauli potential and the symmetry potential with a set of suitable parameters were incorporated into the modified quantum molecular dynamics (MQMD). At the same time the frictional cooling method was used to sample the ground state of colliding nucleus before the collisions. By using the new version of MQMD, the distribution of the nuclide production cross sections in the reaction12C+12C at 28.7 MeV/n was calculated. In comparison with both the experimental data and the calculation results of AMD, the qualitative trends of the experimental data and AMD calculated results are well reproduced by our calculated results. Meanwhile, we analysed the time stability and the impact parameter dependence of the multiplicity of4He and8Be.
