Abstract

Abstract The larva and pupa of Plagiodera erythroptera Blanchard are described and illustrated. Morphological change in the course of larval growth and some biological notes are also given. The immature stages of this species closely resemble those of Plagiodera versicolora (Laicharting) but differ in the color pattern and the number of setae of the head and thorax.
