Eleven species of Carcinops Marseul (Histeridae: Dendrophilinae: Paromalini) are known to inhabit cactus necroses within the Sonoran Desert region. Six of these species, Carcinops curtus Reese and Swanson, new species, Carcinops rugulus Reese and Swanson, new species, Carcinops torquatus Reese and Swanson, new species, Carcinops yaquix Reese and Swanson, new species, Carcinops kumeyaay Reese and Swanson, new species, and Carcinops wenzeli Reese and Swanson, new species, are described here for the first time.
