Abstract

Abstract Describing and illustrating the data in mixed methods research involves crafting coherent reports on results and inferences from the analysis of those data. Because mixed methods research has both qualitative and quantitative aspects, this can be a difficult process. This entry first addresses the common techniques for illustrating the results from data analysis in mixed methods reports. It continues with a more comprehensive analysis of the recommended ways to structure findings and discussion sections in those reports.
