Abstract

This study analyzes the challenges faced by university teaching in the context of education 4.0. The importance of adapting to technological changes, promoting more active and participatory learning, and developing digital skills is highlighted. The need to adjust educational programs to address emerging technologies and collaborate with industry is also mentioned. Barriers such as the lack of technological resources, resistance to change and lack of institutional recognition are identified. Strategies such as teacher training, the adaptation of teaching methodologies and overcoming the technological gap are proposed to take advantage of the opportunities offered by 4.0 education and improve the quality of university education.
