Abstract

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a highly effective treatment for severe depression. Magnetic seizure therapy (MST) can potentially offer similar efficacy as ECT with fewer adverse side effects. This study investigates whether ECT and MST differentially act on depressive symptom clusters and explores clinical predictors of response.
