Abstract
Operative intervention is a strong stress that creates preconditions for the acute exacerbation of cronic inflammatory processes of the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum, and the development of ulcers / erosions in previously conditionally healthy individuals, the so-called “stress-induced changes”. The article deals with the role of the traumatic operation in the formation of stress-induced changes (SIС) of the mucous membrane of the upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT) in the postoperative period in children. The calculation algorithm and the values of the coefficient of traumatic severity (СТS) of operative intervention are presented, which increase the risk of development of SIС in the postoperative period. The problem of SIС of the mucous membrane of the upper gastrointestinal tract infections in pediatri c surgery has not been considered for a long time, however, with the development of surgical techniques of treatment, the e mergence of new methods to expand the scope of surgical intervention, the relevance of the latter has become rosacea. Also, a separate role should be attributed to the development of market relations and the formation of a modern system of financing medical diagnostic process.
