Abstract

We analyzed the non-Fermi behavior of high-temperature copper oxides, extending the model proposed by Anderson and Yin and Chakravarty. We show that there is an agreement between critical temperatures calculated in two different ways. We discussed also the effect of an energy-dependent density of states (which can be singular), and the critical temperature degradation in the non-Fermi liquid, due to a small amount of impurities.
