Abstract
Densification behavior and properties of glass ceramics with different composition selected from CaO–B 2O 3–SiO 2 system were investigated. The Effect of temperature, heating speed, and soaking time on properties of the glass ceramics, were analyzed respectively. Results showed that the glass selected from CaO–B 2O 3–SiO 2 system with a composition of 40 wt.% CaO, 20 wt.% B 2O 3 and 40 wt.% SiO 2 could be sintered well at 850 °C for 60 min with a heating speed of 10 °C min −1. The material has low dielectric constant and dielectric loss ( ε=4.97, tgd⩽10 −3 at 1 MHz), which is desirable for the high frequency parts.
