Abstract

If pursuing the goal of social justice requires not only that domination and oppression in their various forms be alleviated but also that democracy be pursued as ‘both an element and a condition of social justice’, with the implications for education explored so far, all this implies for the global pursuit of democracy. Relatedly, it suggests about the education of democratic citizens in a global context.
