Abstract
ABSTRACT In response to recent calls for changes in mathematics teaching that include a) a broad range of mathematical assignments [6, p. 191], and b) alternative assessment techniques [4, p. 41] this College Geometry class did mini-research projects as a partial grade requirement. Details about the students and the project are given and one particular project which led to a new twist on Venn diagrams is reported here.
