Abstract
This paper presents transindividuation records and observations, which the authors argue allow the perception of delay technologies. This study will present the ideas behind such descriptions and how they contribute to what can be considered a non-essentialist concept of relation. To navigate those ideas, the authors present three examples of transindividuation records documented during on-site research in the communities of Boca do Mamirauá, Caburini, Bom Jesus da Ponta da Castanha, São Francisco do Bauãna, Vila Sião, in Amazon, Brazil, during the period of eight months. This study demonstrates that the perception of time may change when we are in the presence of the waters of Amazon rivers. In relation to Amazon's waters, humans perceive a delay due to different orders of magnitude in nature, resulting in a specific mode of existence.
