Abstract

AbstractDeformation properties of a composite based on poly(ethylene‐co‐propylene) and kaolin with modified surface as the filler are characterized. The importance of an interaction parameter polymer‐filler in calculating the internal deformation α′ is shown. A direct connection between internal deformation and quantities obtained from calorimetric measurements, i.e. between the work W and heat Q and the changes in internal energies (δU)P,T was found.
