Abstract

Blasting is still the most popular and effective method of breaking rocks and it is widely used in mining, leveling, and building demolition. In blasting process carried out in surface mines, a series of bad impacts on environment are generated such as ground vibration, air blast, flying rock, dust and poisonous gases. The contents of the article present the method for determining the explosive amount per blast and minimizing the bad impacts caused by blasting at the spillway No.2 near the spillway No.1 at Nui Mot lake - Binh Dinh province.
