Abstract

AbstractThe construction development of areas with difficult engineering and geological conditions with unstable rugged terrain is a complex geotechnical task. Issues related to the safe operation of installation works for the construction of any facility in such territories are a multifaceted problem, primarily related to the development of special geotechnical technologies related to the actual engineering and geological conditions of the topography, pressures from existing buildings and structures, and, secondly, their actual implementation on a specific building site. Modern geotechnical construction in its arsenal possesses methods and technologies for solving these complex problems. Use of advanced computer programs such as GeoWall, GeoStab, Plaxis, etc. makes it possible to develop geotechnical objects of any complexity. In order to identify the most appropriate geotechnical technology, the use of interactive design should be mandatory. This is a «developed project—a pilot site—a real project». At the same time, this type of design should be multi-variant using different geotechnical technologies and constructions. The feasibility of all elements in interactive design is important. Any element in the design shall be economically feasible and technically feasible. The case reviewed from the geotechnical practice of the construction of the facility confirms the fact that modern design and engineering tools make it possible to solve any complex problems.KeywordsEDT ground anchorCementing solutionElectro-discharge technology (EDT technology)Horizontal movementPulse-pattern generator (PPG)
