Abstract

Background: Bronchiolitis is a leading cause of hospitalization for children, yet variability in its management persists. There are a few evidence-based medical interventions for bronchiolitis; however, non-evidence based medications and diagnostic testing continue to be used in many clinical settings despite evidence of its futility, resulting in increased cost and length of stay.
