Abstract
A 76-year-old male had dual-chamber implantable cardioverter defibrillatorimplanted, employing a Medtronic Sprint Fidelis 6931-65 shock. A routine follow-up 4 years later showed a sudden steep decrease in the amplitude of the right ventricular electrogram (EGM) from 9.0 to 2.0 mV ( Panel A ).
