Abstract

The paper describes methods of decentralized priority control of multiple access to shared line bus in multimicroprocessor systems. Application of these methods was demonstrated to improve performances of multiple access in interfaces MULTIBUS and S-100. It is shown that data processing in common line bus is sometimes possible. Such a processing called common-channel data processing is an additional way to parallelization of computations in multimicroprocessor system.
