Abstract
Analysis of the long-term morphological evolution of a muddy open-coast Sediment transport suggests a growth of mudbanks migrating along the coast. Cross-shore exchange of sediment is equally significant as longshore transport. Mudbank and shoreline erosion/accretion trends are reversed.
