Abstract
Continued attention to the dynamic processes of Deaf society will allow churches and organizations to allocate resources most effectively to serve Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Of chief need are creative consortiums such as the effort of European organizations to serve Ugandan Deaf children. What brings together this kind of creative consortium? What else around the world is taking place to serve the world's Deaf and hard-of-hearing population? What needs to be done? How can churches and mission organizations approach these challenges? This article will answer some of these questions while presenting a strategy for viable services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
