Abstract
The paper examines the characteristic values of the hydraulic and atmospheric parameters necessary to set up a hydro-thermal deterministic model along urban Dâmbovița River in Bucharest City, Romania. The model is supposed to reproduce the thermal regime of the river during heatwaves occurring in hot summer periods. To this end, in the summers of 2020, 2021 and 2023 were acquired using multiple data of hydraulic and climate variables using temperature loggers equipped with bluetooth technology and remote sensing climate data retrieved from Open Weather. An hourly database including all the available hourly parameters of air and water for these periods, was created to be used in the development of a hydro-thermal model along Dâmbovița River.
